Break
Things have started to slow down. The schools have two weeks off for fall break. So right know we have just been hanging out and working in the village. The kids are doing really well with memorizing verses. Every week we have 15-20 kids that say a verse to us. On Saturday we are going to Dar for a few days to visit some of Sprinkel's friends. The kids are all very excited and have been counting down the days until we leave. It is about a six hour drive from their house. It is right on the Indian Ocean. I have started working with a 20 year old girl named Gonsa this week helping to teach her English. There is an ESL (English as a second language) teacher working with her right now but she is leaving next week and they wanted someone to continue to work with her. So I will continue to work with Gonsa until I leave. It's funny because the teacher who is working with her now is from England and some of the things they say are different than what we call them in the states and some of the spelling is even different. So I have to get used to some of those things. It's all very funny. Yesterday there a small earthquake that hit. The whole house started to shake and we had to run outside. It was funny and scary at the same time. Nothing major happened and we are all fine. Once school starts again in a week things will start to get busy again. But it is nice to have a little break. Miss you all.
